Hi, I’m Sanaa, founder of EssBakes.

EssBakes began from my love for creating meaningful moments through beautiful cakes and desserts.
Inspired by my initial, “Ess” became my creative alter ego, the side of me that finds joy in details, beauty in design, and happiness in making others feel celebrated.

Growing up, cakes were always at the centre of our celebrations, and that feeling of bringing people together is something I now love creating for others.

​​What started as a creative outlet while working in healthcare quickly became something I was deeply passionate about and I spent evenings after work practising, learning, and refining my skills, and since then I’ve created over 300 cakes with each one designed with care, creativity, and attention to detail.
 

My background in healthcare has definitely shaped the way I run EssBakes today, with a strong focus on hygiene, precision and professionalism
I hold a Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene certificate, completed Allergen Awareness training, and I’m proud to have achieved a 5-star food hygiene rating.
 

Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, planning your wedding, or hosting a special event, my goal is to create something that not only looks beautiful, but becomes a memorable part of your celebration.
